Twentieth Century Fox have released a brand new featurette and clip for their upcoming motion picture Hidden Figures, which arrives in cinemas in February. The film is getting great buzz from critics and fans alike, and has been at the top of the U.S. box-office chart for two weeks – beating Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, Janelle Monáe, Kirsten Dunst, Jim Parsons, Mahershala Ali, Aldis Hodge, Glen Powell and Kevin Costner star in the forthcoming film, which is directed by Theodore Melfi.
Here’s the plot.
Hidden Figures is the incredible untold story of Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughn (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monáe)—brilliant African-American women working at NASA, who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation’s confidence, turned around the Space Race, and galvanised the world. The visionary trio crossed all gender and race lines to inspire generations to dream big.
