Official Logan synopsis: Actor Hugh Jackman posts the plot on social media ahead of the film’s world premiere in Germany in February.

Hugh Jackman has revealed the official Logan synopsis. The actor, who will return to his iconic role of Wolverine one last time this coming March, posted the plot outline on his Twitter account on Friday.

As above, it reads:
“In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.”
Short and sweet, but os so luring.
Logan is set to have its world premiere at Germany’s Berlin Film Festival next month where all of the stars are set to turn out to support the film. James Mangold directs Logan, which also stars Sir Patrick Stewart, Richard E. Grant, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant, Dafne Keen, Eriq La Salle, Elise Neal and Elizabeth Rodriguez.
We’re promised a very different tone to previous efforts with the new sequel, the trailer for which dropped towards the end of last year. We’re promised a second one very soon.
Logan shot in Louisiana, New Mexico, and Mississippi last summer and will reportedly be based around the comic book “Old Man Logan” by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven. The screenplay was written by Michael Green and Scott Frank, from a story by David James Kelly and Mangold.
The film will open in the UK on March 1st with U.S. audiences getting the film two days later on the 3rd. It will also screen on IMAX screens in selected cinemas.
