The ‘Justice League’ line-up in new official image

All of the current DC movie superheroes (bar one) have lined up for a brand new Justice League photo from the upcoming ensemble movie.

The new image comes courtesy of USA Today who released the snap alone with various other high-profile movies that will release in 2017.

As you can see in the image above, Ben Affleck‘s Batman, Gal Gadot‘s Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher‘s Cyborg, Ezra Miller‘s The Flash and Jason Momoa‘s Aquaman can be clearly seen. Of course, Henry Cavill‘s Superman is nowhere to be seen (for obvious reasons), but the actor will appear in the movie, which releases later this year.

Here’s the last synopsis we’ve been given.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat.

Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, from a screenplay by Chris Terrio, and flies into cinemas on 17th November, 2017.

Also starring in the film is Amy Adams, Amber Heard, Jeremy Irons, Willem Dafoe, Ciarán Hinds and many more. Hinds plays the villain of the piece, the nasty Steppenwolf.

Justice League will be the second big DC movie of 2017 following Wonder Woman’s solo outing, which will arrive during the summer. Gal Gadot will lead that movie, alongside Chris Pine who plays Steve Treynor.

Batman, The Flash and Aquaman all have their own stand-alone movies planned for 2018 and beyond. It is thought that Ben Affleck will direct The Batman, the planned Caped Crusader adventure, as well as reprise the role of the title character and co-write the screenplay.

More news on all of these movies as it comes our way. Enjoy the new Justice League photo above.
