American Crime Story: The People Vs O.J. Simpson actor Sterling K. Brown has joined the cast of Marvel Studios‘ Black Panther.
The forthcoming adaptation of the famous comic books is being directed by Creed and Fruitvale Station‘s Ryan Coogler, and sees Chadwick Boseman star as the title character T’Challa.
Brown will play the role of N’Jobu, a figure from T’Challa’s past.
Coogler’s film boasts an impressive supporting cast, that consists of Michael B. Jordan, who will play Erik Killmonger (a villain from the comics), Lupita Nyong’o, Forest Whitaker, Daniel Kaluuya, Florence Kasumba, Winston Duke, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, and Angela Bassett as Ramonda, mother of T’Challa.
Shooting kicks off this month in Atlanta, Georgia, with the film arriving in cinemas on February 16, 2018.
