Doctor Strange in Thor Ragnarok: Benedict Cumberbatch will reprise his Marvel role for 2017 movie.
More on the Doctor Strange in Thor Ragnarok news below.
Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange will make an appearance in this year’s Thor: Ragnarok. Walt Disney Pictures/ Marvel Studios have just literally confirmed the news officially.
The film was previewed to Disney’s D23 fan club this past weekend where the following blurb was released:
“Thor: Ragnarok in November brings together Thor, the Hulk, and Doctor Strange to face off against intergalactic baddies both familiar and new.”
So there you go, Doctor Strange in Thor Ragnarok! But it’s all not that big a surprise after Thor appeared in the post-credits scene in last year’s Doctor Strange, right? Obviously we have no idea as to how big that role will be, but we’re hoping that it’s substantial as we totally dug Cumberbatch in the brilliant Doctor Strange.
Thor: Ragnarok is directed by Taika Waititi (Hunt For The Wilderpeople), and will be released in cinemas this coming November. Of course, Chris Hemswoth is back as the almighty title character and Mark Ruffalo will return after a 2016 hiatus as The Hulk/ Bruce Banner.
We’ll bring you more as we get it.
