There’s about three and a half weeks as I type this until UK audiences will be able to see the superb La La Land, and about another month and a bit after that until Damien Chazelle wins his Oscar (we’re sure of it). To keep us going until then, Lionsgate have released a brand new festive clip from the film, which you can watch in the player below.
La La Land tells the story of Mia [Emma Stone], an aspiring actress, and Sebastian [Ryan Gosling], a dedicated jazz musician, who are struggling to make ends meet in a city known for crushing hopes and breaking hearts. Set in modern day Los Angeles, this original musical about everyday life explores the joy and pain of pursuing your dreams.
John Legend, Rosemarie DeWitt, Finn Wittrock, Callie Hernandez, Sonoya Mizuno, Jessica Rothe, Tom Everett Scott, and Josh Pence also star in the film, which arrives in cinemas on January 12th.
