The film is still in-production, but that hasn’t stopped Sony Pictures UK releasing an early look at the forthcoming Blade Runner 2049, which will be released in cinemas next year.
Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
The film also stars Ana de Armas, Robin Wright, Jared Leto, Barkhad Abdi, Lennie James, Mackenzie Davis, and Sylvia Hoeks. Denis Villeneuve (Arrival) directs.
Blade Runner 2049 will hit cinemas on October 6th, 2017. Watch the new promo below. It is awesome.
