In cinemas this coming weekend following a successful run in the US is the action-thriller The Accountant, which stars Ben Affleck, Anna Kendrick, Jon Bernthal, Cynthia Addai-Robinson and Oscar-winner J.K. Simmons. We caught up with Addai Robinson to talk about her role in the film, Treasury Department Agent MaryBeth Medina.
Christian Wolff (Affleck) is a mathematics savant with more affinity for numbers than people. Using a small-town CPA office as a cover, he makes his living as a freelance accountant for dangerous criminal organizations. With a Treasury agent (Simmons) hot on his heels, Christian takes on a state-of-the-art robotics company as a legitimate client. As Wolff gets closer to the truth about a discrepancy that involves millions of dollars, the body count starts to rise.
Watch our exclusive interview with Cynthia Addai-Robinson below. The Accountant opens across the UK from Friday 4th November.
