To coincide with the upcoming release of 100 Streets starring Idris Elba and Gemma Arterton we have a brand new clip to share.
The film is a layered and gripping drama, which takes a fresh look at the vibrant and compelling life of residents in contemporary London – destination capital of the world. Emmy and Golden Globe nominated Jim O’Hanlon directs.
100 Streets border and intersect the film’s setting in contemporary London. Chelsea squares back onto high-rise estates, riverside opulence contrasts the day to day grind. It’s in these streets that our cast of characters face major choices and change in their separate lives, as they negotiate their often inter-weaving existences.
The cast’s interconnecting stories paint a picture of a society where you are often loneliest within a crowd. As tension mounts, relationships are strained, loyalties are tested and violence erupts. Yet the underlying message of the film is one of hope; if you reach out to others, life is not a lonely struggle. With nods to both Crash and Amores Perros and inspired by London life, 100 Streets portrays modern city life in all its complexity and will resonate deeply with those who have lived it.
Catch the exclusive new clip below. 100 Streets is in cinemas and on-demand in the UK from November 11th.
