Hollywood Legend Kevin Costner is in talks to join the cast of Aaron Sorkin‘s directorial debut Molly’s Game, so reports Variety. Costner, who was last seen in last year’s Criminal, will join the likes of Jessica Chastain and Idris Elba in the movie if he signs on the dotted line.

The trade says that Chastain is set to play Molly Bloom who, ‘after failing to make the Olympic team, decides to take a year off before law school and get a job as a waitress in Los Angeles. Through a bizarre set of circumstances, as well as untapped entrepreneurial skills, she ends up making millions by running, for eight years, the most exclusive high-stakes poker game in the world. Her life comes crashing down when 17 FBI agents armed with automatic weapons ring her doorbell.’

They add that Costner would be up for playing Bloom’s father in the movie.

Sorkin will direct from his own screenplay. More as it comes our way.
