You may have been lucky enough to catch the awesome, psychedelic, sparkly Trolls in previews this past weekend, or even at the big family gala at the BFI London Film Festival last weekend, but if not don’t worry as this superb animated epic from Dreamworks Animation officially opens in cinemas across the country this weekend.
Trolls is a hair-raising comedy filled with unbelievable adventure and incredible music. Known for their crazy, colourful, and magical hair, Trolls are the happiest, most joyous creatures ever to burst into song. But their world of rainbows and cupcakes is changed forever, when their leader Poppy (Anna Kendrick,) must embark on a rescue mission that takes her far beyond the only world she’s ever known.
Justin Timberlake, James Corden, John Cleese, Zoey Deschanel, Russell Brand and many more also lend their voices to the film, which is directed by the talented Walt Dohrn and Mike Mitchell, both of whom we caught up with on their recent trip to London.
Trolls is released across the UK and Ireland on Friday 21st October. You can also read our glittering review over here.
