As you may know, the eighth Fast and Furious movie is currently in post-production readying for its April 2017, but here’s an interesting piece of news that may please fans. It seems that Caleb and Cody Walker have been speaking about a potential return for Paul Walker’s character Brian O’Connor in some of the three confirmed Furious sequels after helping out James Wan on Furious 7.
The Walkers were speaking with Entertainment Tonight while discussing a fundraising event called Game4Paul, which was held in honour of Paul Walker, and during the interview Caleb had this to say:
“I had a phone call with Vin for about an hour and we really discussed this a while back. He wanted [our] blessing. [Diesel asked if it] would be acceptable to maybe bring Paul’s character back… to really kind of let his fans know he’s still out there.”
Sounds interesting, right? There’s no confirmation as to which movie, if any, that he will return in, but we’ll keep you informed if we hear anything else.
As well as Fast 8, which will hit cinemas in April 2017, a ninth and tenth movie have been pencilled in for 2019 and 2021 respectively.
