‘The Crow’ Remake is back: Corin Hardy returns, shooting starts January

Crow

Released in 1994 and based on James O’Barr’s brilliant graphic novel The Crow is a cult classic. The film spawned three sequels of varying quality and a television series. Now it is one of many movies to be given the reboot/remake treatment.

Original star Brandon Lee tragically lost his life on the set after and since then the film has been rumoured to have been cursed. So far the curse has definitely caused some trouble. We’ve lost at least three lead actors and almost as many directors. Most recently Corin Hardy was attached but was then seemingly let go. Now though it appears that Hardy might still get to bring his vision to life  as The Wrap are reporting the film is back on track, with Hardy attached. According to the site shooting will start as soon as January. Given that when we spoke with Hardy earlier this year he shared that he had ‘done a lot of work already’ this date isn’t too surprising.

In the image you can see Momoa sat with Hardy sharing a pint with the caption ‘seal the deal’.

Creator O’Barr has recently been vocal in highlighting that this won’t be a remake of the 1994 film but rather a more faithful adaptation of the original source.

A release date has yet to be announced for the troubled project. Let’s hope this version of cast and crew sticks. If it does then it surely won’t be long until we finally get to see it. No pressure Corin…
