Hands Of Stone red band trailer lands quite a punch, and some heavy NSFW material.

The Hands Of Stone red band trailer has just made it online and it is really, really NSFW. No, really. I’m surprised it has remained on YouTube. The film arrives in cinemas very soon and stars Edgar Ramirez, Robert De Niro, Usher Raymond IV and Ellen Barkin, and looks like a return to form for everyone involved – including De Niro (after this, thank goodness).
The story revolves around the legendary Roberto Duran (Ramirez) and his equally legendary trainer Ray Arcel (De Niro) who change each other’s lives.
Here’s the full synopsis for the upcoming drama.
At age 72, legendary trainer Ray Arcel (Robert De Niro) comes out of retirement to coach world-class Panamanian boxer Roberto Durán (Edgar Ramirez). Arcel becomes a mentor to the ferocious fighter, convincing him that winning ultimately comes down to strategy. After scoring knockout after knockout, Duran prepares for a bout against Sugar Ray Leonard, the undefeated lightweight champion. Five months later, on Nov. 25, 1980, the two titans meet for an infamous rematch that makes boxing history.
Check out De Niro’s remarkable resemblance to Arcel by clicking that link above. Uncanny.
Some good buzz came out of Cannes earlier this year where the film screened in a slightly unfinished form. We’ll be be able to gauge it for ourselves very soon when it is finally unleashed in cinemas. This hits the US markets in just one week (August 26th), and the UK TBA 2016.
We’ll bring you more news on Hands Of Stone’s UK release as it is set – we’re guessing that it won’t be that far behind the incoming Stateside debut. Watch the thrilling, and indeed very NSFW Hands Of Stone red band trailer below.
