With shooting done, editing has officially commenced on Star Wars Episode VIII, which still doesn’t have an official title. Director and writer Rian Johnson has taken to the social medias to announced the first day of editing on the movie with a very non-spoilery image – what more would you expect!
Here’s what he posted:
The image came with this caption via his Instagram:
Day One
We’ve heard that John Williams is set to get cracking on scoring the film to a rough cut of the film in just a couple of weeks time, so Johnson and go better get cracking. There’s still a ton of time until release, of course, as this one isn’t due in cinemas until December 2017.
Expect a trailer towards the end of the year.
