Bay Boys 3 has been pushed back to January 2018, but has also got itself a new title. The third film in the hit series will be entitled Bad Boys For Life and will reunite Will Smith and Martin Lawrence on screen for the first time since 2003.
Michael Bay will not direct the third film in the series – instead, directing duties will fall to the feet of Joe Carnahan, helmer of The A-Team remake and NARC.
The new title refers to Will Smith and Martin Lawrence’s characters’ famous motto, “We ride together, we die together, bad boys for life.” Both actors will reprise their roles as Miami detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett.
The official release date is now January 12, 2018, so about 18 months to go until we see the boys in action once again. Shooting on the film will start probably in early 2017 to see the film make that big release.
More as it comes in.
