Suicide Squad mid-credits scene revealed

With just a week to until Suicide Squad hits cinemas, it has been confirmed that a Suicide Squad mid-credits scene is an actual thing. Sources over at ComicBook.com have stated that we will be treated to an extra scene at the end of the forthcoming DC villains movie, which is being directed by David Ayer.

The site explains:

After the credits sequence rolls (that’s also called the “bumper,” the part before the plain black-and-white names and characters part rolls), using the same stylized hyper-colored imagery they’ve used in the posters and character art, there’s one more scene waiting for you on the other side. It’s pivotal and important, too.

Wow! Exciting stuff. Well, this time next week we’ll know what exactly that scene is and who it will involve.

The film, released in cinemas on August 5th, features popular DC characters Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Deadshot (Will Smith), Diablo (Jay Hernandez), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), and Amanda Waller, played by Viola Davis.

We’ve also got another, slightly spoilers confirmation of an appearance by another DC character who you may know have expected to turn up. If you don’t want to know, turn away now!

SPOILERS BELOW.

Well, here it is. According to The Hollywood Reporter (so pretty good source), we may get a sight of Ezra Miller’s The Flash/ Barry Allen in the film. The trade says that Miller recently wrapped shooting a scene that will be inserted into the movie at the final hour. Whether that is anything to do with the Suicide Squad mid-credits scene is unknown, however, the trade did add this…

The scene, according to sources, will not be an end credit insert but in the movie itself.

He, of course, will get his own stand-alone movie in 2018 following an appearance in next year’s Justice League, which is now shooting.

We’ll have our review of Suicide Squad hitting the site next Thursday.
