Lennie James, who is most recently known for his outstanding work on The Walking Dead, has joined the cast of Blade Runner 2. British actor James, who has also appeared in Guy Ritchie’s Snatch and many other TV series and movies throughout his 25 year career, joins the likes of Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Robin Wright, Dave Bautista, Barkhad Abdi, Ana de Armas, and David Dastmalchian in the as yet untitled sequel, set decades after the classic original.
There have been zero details released as to who James will play in the movie. Zero.
Denis Villeneuve is directing the film and original helmer Ridley Scott will produce. Roger Deakins will be the man behind the camera, so expect greatness from this. Seriously.
Production is already underway on Blade Runner 2 with a release date also already set for October 6th, 2017.
