Paul Feig has named his next project. The Ghostbusters director will take on Supermodel Snowpocalypse, a film which will focus on ‘a real-life drama when models including Mick Jagger’s ex-wife Jerry Hall found themselves trapped at a remote ski resort in South America when a severe snowstorm hit during a location shoot for high-end department store Neiman Marcus.’
The models then turn the resort into their own drug-fueled Studio 54.
Stranded for a week with no working phones and the only access out of the building through a second-storey window, the American crew hatched a plan to escape back home.
The film will be adapted from a 2013 Elle magazine article by Mickey Rapkin. No news on who will direct, but it definitely will not be Feig.
More as it comes in.
