Kiersey Clemons has been cast in the forthcoming movie The Flash opposite Ezra Mller’s Barry Allen. According to Variety, Kiersey will be joining the DC movie universe as the female lead of Iris West is the 2018 movie.
Rick Famuyiwa is now directing the film after Seth Grahame-Smith departed the helming gig recently, though he will still be credited as screenwriter on the film, which should roll into production later this year.
Kiersey Clemons was last seen in the hilarious comedy Bad Neighbours 2 earlier on this year, and had a break-out role in Dope. She will play West who is Allen’s love interest in the film, which will be totally separate from the current, hugely successful TV version of The Flash.
Ezra Miller was briefly seen in this year’s Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, and will also appear in Justice League where he’ll have a more prominent role. A glimpse of him in the film was seen in a sizzle reel presented at the San Diego Comic Con this past week. See that over here.
More news on The Flash as we get it.
