The Marvel panel is always a highlight at the San Diego Comic Con every year, and this year was not an exception. During the panel, Marvel Studio’s head honcho Kevin Feige brought out the cast (led by Tom Holland) and director (Jon Watts) of the in-production Spider-Man: Homecoming, which is due to land in cinemas in 2017.
The Comic-Con Hall H attendees were treated to a first look at the movie, despite the film being just 10 days into its shoot. Jon Watts described as a “high school movie” with a John Hughes feel about it, which makes us want to see it right now.
The big news, however, is that the Vulture was confirmed as the villain for the film, and the studio revealed some concept art featuring both him and Spidey in the new film.
Take a look at that via Twitter below, and watch some highlights from the Comic Con panel underneath. Spider-Man: Homecoming will be released in the summer of 2017.
More as we get it.
