Warner Brothers have released the very first images from The LEGO Batman Movie, a film which is due to have a presence at this weekend’s San Diego Comic Con, which kicks off this very day.
The images show our first look at Robin and The Joker in the movie, which are voiced by Michael Cera and Zach Galifianakis respectively.
In the irreverent spirit of fun that made “The LEGO Movie” a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure: “The LEGO Batman Movie.” But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.
Chris McKay is directing the film with Will Arnett taking the lead voice role as Batman.
We’re hoping for more stuff from The LEGO Batman Movie over the next couple of days. The film itself will release on February 10, 2017. Check out the brand new images below.
