Amazon Studios are in talks to fully finance Woody Allen‘s next film for $25 million. The deal is being reported for The Hollywood Reporter, who say that the streaming giant will give its full backing to the untitled project, which will star Kate Winslet, Jim Belushi, Justin Timberlake and Juno Temple.
We don’t know too much about the film at the moment, other than that it will be set on Coney Island in New York. Shooting will start in the fall.
Amazon reportedly paid $15 – $20 million for distribution rights to Allen’s 2016 movie, Café Society, which debuted at the Cannes Film Festival back in May. It will open in the UK this September.
