It is exactly one year until the next stand-alone Spider-Man movie will be seen in cinemas. On July 7th, 2017, Spider-Man: Homecoming will roll into theatres and to celebrate the date, actor Tom Holland, who plays the lead role of Spider-Man/ Peter Parker in the film, posted the following selfie to his Instagram account.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is now shooting as a co-production between Sony and Marvel Studios. The film will see Holland star opposite Robert Downey Jr. who also reprises his famous role of Iron Man/ Tony Stark, and Marisa Tomei who appears as Aunt May.
Jon Watts, who brought the excellent indie Cop Car to screens last year, is directing.
