The in-production Spider-Man: Homecoming has added another cast member, The Nice Guys‘ Angourie Rice. The young Australian actress, who also wowed in this year’s These Final Hours, has seemingly won the role after her scene-stealing role in Shane Black’s action comedy.
As with all of the other additions to the cast of the Marvel and Sony co-production, we don’t know who Angourie will be playing as they’re keeping Mum, but you have to admit, director Jon Watts and his filmmaking team are assembling quite the line-up.
Tom Holland is, of course, playing the lead as Spider-Man/ Peter Parker, and he will be joined by Marisa Tomei, who plays Aunt May, along with Robert Downey Jr, Michael Keaton, Logan Marshall-Green, Martin Starr, Donald Glover, Tony Revolori and Abraham Attah.
As we said, shooting is underway with a release date of July 7th, 2017 secured in stone.
More as it comes in.
