Bad news for fans of the Underworld franchise. The fifth film in the very successful franchise has had its release date pushed back to 2017.
The film was set to hit cinemas this coming October, but that will not be the case now as the distributors have stated that the film will now release on January 6th 2017 in the US. and on February 3rd 2017 in the UK.
The film has also seemingly gone under a title change with the film’s official Facebook page reporting that the film will now be called Underworld: Blood Wars. A new title card has already been shared on the same page, much to fans delight. Check it out above.
Kate Beckinsale returns in the new film, alongside Charles Dance, Theo James and Lara Pulver. Anna Foerster directs.
More as we get it.
