Just a couple of days ago we brought you a ton of new images from Gareth Edwards‘ upcoming Star Wars spin-off Rogue One: A Star Wars Story as part of Entertainment Weekly‘s issue that celebrates the film. Now, EW have released even more.
The idea for the story of Rogue One came from John Knoll, the Academy Award-winning visual effects supervisor and chief creative officer at Industrial Light & Magic. The screenplay is written by Chris Weitz and revolves around a group of rebels who set out on a mission to steal the plans for the Death Star. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story heads to cinemas on December 16, 2016.
