Warner Brothers Pictures have just released a new featurette for their upcoming release The Legend Of Tarzan, which swings into cinemas in a couple of weeks.
We caught some impressive footage from the film back in April, and are pretty excited about seeing the full movie as the release date approaches.
Alexander Skarsgård stars as the legendary title character created by Edgar Rice Burroughs, alongside Oscar nominee Samuel L. Jackson, Margot Robbie, Oscar nominee Djimon Hounsou, Oscar winner Jim Broadbent, and two-time Oscar winner Christoph Waltz.
Here’s the plot.
It has been years since the man once known as Tarzan (Skarsgård) left the jungles of Africa behind for a gentrified life as John Clayton, Lord Greystoke, with his beloved wife, Jane (Robbie) at his side. Now, he has been invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament, unaware that he is a pawn in a deadly convergence of greed and revenge, masterminded by the Belgian, Leon Rom (Waltz). But those behind the murderous plot have no idea what they are about to unleash.
David Yates (Harry Potter series) directs the film, which will be released in UK cinemas from July 6th, 2016.
Check out the new featurette below.
