First posters for ‘A Street Cat Named Bob’ starring Luke Treadaway

Today you’ve got your first look at Luke Treadaway and Bob in the upcoming film adaptation of James Bowen’s best-selling book, which is about the unlikely – but lovely – friendship between young, homeless busker Bowen and a stray ginger cat named Bob.

Directed by Roger Spottiswoode, whose previous work includes Tomorrow Never Dies and Turner & Hooch, Treadaway plays Bowen as it tells of the story of how the cat changed his life. A Street Cat Named Bob also stars Ruta Gedmintas, Joanne Froggatt, Anthony Head and the original Bob, who was used in the end because he knew what to do! Filming took place over 6 weeks in Covent Garden, where James and Bob used to busk.
