We are desperately sad to report that wonderful young man and actor, Anton Yelchin, has died in a freak car accident at 27 years of age.
It has been reported by TMZ, and numerous sources, that he was pinned by his own car that rolled into him and with it suffered fatal head and chest injuries.
Yelchin has been a sterling young talent who has definitely left a positive mark on everything we’ve seen him in. Starring as a young Chekov in Star Trek has been on his utter highlights but he’s also turned in first class performances in the likes of the Fright Night reboot, Odd Thomas, Only Lovers Left Alive, Like Crazy and Green Room, to name just a few.
The entire The Hollywood News family send their deepest sympathies to Anton’s family and friends at this difficult time.
