Mechanic Resurrection poster: The new one-sheet for the Jason Staham starrer lands online.
The Mechanic Resurrection poster shows off Jason Statham in action in the sequel to the 2011 original.
There’s a new Jason Statham movie just around the corner, and it has just got itself a new poster. The film in question is Mechanic: Resurrection, and it hits in August, which surprises us as we’ve heard little to nothing about it for ages – still, we’re still up for it.
Dennis Ganse is directing the film, which also stars Tommy Lee Jones, Jessica Alba, Michelle Yeoh, and Sam Hazeldine. A brief teaser trailer appeared earlier this year, though we’re hoping for a proper look at the film very soon.
Here’s what we know about it (after visiting the WikiPedia page).
After the demise of his partner turned enemy Steve McKenna (Ben Foster), Arthur Bishop (Statham) who narrowly escaped from Steve’s murder attempt on him retires his status as a contract killer. But when his most formidable foe kidnaps the love of his life, he is forced to travel the globe to complete three impossible assassinations, and do what he does best, make them look like accidents.
According to the same source, the film has taken in quite a few exotic locations. Filing apparently took place in Bangkok, Thailand, Bulgaria, Brazil and Australia towards the end of last year.
We liked the original, which in itself was actually a remake of an old Charles Bronson movie. Our review of the 2011 remake can be found over here.
We are so looking forward to this.
Check out the Mechanic Resurrection poster below. Look out for the film in cinemas from August 26th, 2016.
More news on the forthcoming high-octane, explosive action movie as we get it.
