Batman and his delightfully twisted rogues gallery have been interpreted across many different mediums over the years. However, one of the most popular and prominent adaptations has undoubtedly been Bruno Heller’s Gotham. Warner Bros and Fox began their brand new take on the caped crusaders world in 2014. Since then the show has reinterpreted a number of influential Batman characters such as Poison Ivy, Mr. Freeze, Catwoman and The Scarecrow. Fans have (mostly) applauded the unique and interesting approach Gotham has taken to these characters, with particular attention aimed towards its dark tone and superbly talented cast.
With season 2 of the show concluding in the UK earlier this week, THN was lucky enough to sit down with Robin Taylor, Cory Michael Smith and Sean Pertwee. For those who are unfamiliar with the excellent series, these extraordinary actors play The Penguin, The Riddler and Alfred Pennyworth. In this extended conversation we discuss the stars’ thoughts season 2, the DC movie universe and what’s in store for season 3. Check it out below:
