The cast of the forthcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming is getting better and better. Donald Glover (Community) has officially joined he project which Jon Watts is directing for producers Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal.
Tom Holland is playing the title character, reprising his role from Captain America: Civil War. Robert Downey Jr. will appear as Tony Stark/ Iron Man, while Marisa Tomei will star as Aunt May. The reboot will roll into production this year for a release in the summer of 2017.
Michael Keaton is also said to be playing the villain in the film, but that hasn’t officially been confirmed by the studio.
Donald Glover was last seen in Ridley Scott’s The Martian, and also last summer’s Magic Mike XXL. There is no word on who he will play in the Spider-Man movie as yet.
