Fast 8, the eighth movie in the Fast and Furious series will race into cinemas next April, and will shooting now many weeks in, the filmmakers have shared a first look at the brand new cars that we can expect to see in the new film.

Apparently the Fast 8 cars have been valued at more that $17 million! Dennis McCarthy, Vehicle Coordinator for the film gives us a tour of the vehicles that will be used in the film in a new Facebook video, which has just been posted online. Check it out.

F. Gary Gray is directing Fast 8, and the likes of Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Elsa Pataky, Nathalie Emmanuel and Lucas Black are all expected to return, along with Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson and Kurt Russell. Charlize Theron will playing the film’s villain, and will make her debut in the high-octane franchise.

Shooting continues on the film with locations in New York City, Cuba and Iceland. Universal Pictures will release Fast 8 in cinemas on April 7th, 2017.

A new video featuring one of the high-octane stunts from the film was also recently uploaded to YouTube.

“This action is like nothing you’ve ever seen,” said Vin Diesel in the video of the stunt sequence, which is being called Zombie Cars.

“We have seven cars falling from the parking structure,” said special effects supervisor, J.D Schwalm. “And each one of them is aiming at a motorcade here. We have to pull these cars at an exact speed, and we’re doing that using a winch on the crane… each car comes out in succession, then land on the vehicles on the road, here.”

“Obviously there’s no-one in them, because they’re about to be impaled…”

This is insane.
