Josh Brolin has been speaking about his colossal role in the massive Avengers: Infinity War, in which he will play the character of Thanos. Brolin was speaking to Moviefone where he revealed what he felt when he first heard the story.
“Yeah, I sat at a table and I listened to the story from beginning to end, which was … you know, sometimes you go around and you go, “Oh, it’s a great movie. Or this is a great experience,” and you kind of know that it’s not. This is the opposite…These stories … these Avengers stories all come down to this conclusion, and that’s our involvement. Basically, my character against everybody. And it’s really fun what they’ve chosen to do with the story. I think it’s brilliant, personally. I was blown away, and had goose pimples pretty much 50% of the time that I was listening to what was going on, and pretty amazed that I’m going to be involved in it. So it’s a big thing that’s coming up.”
Avengers: Infinity War will actually be two movies, shot back-to-back in Atlanta from this coming November with The Russo Brothers, Joe and Anthony, at the helm.
Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 is set for a release in cinemas on May 4, 2018; Part 2 will open on May 3, 2019. No news of any other cast members or story lines are available, but we’re pretty excited following the great work the Russo brothers did on Captain America: Civil War early this year.
More as we get it.
