The sequel to the 1996 British classic Trainspotting is now filming in Scotland. Danny Boyle is directing and many of the original film’s cast are back for the movie, which is based on Irvine Welsh’s novel Porno.
We’ve seen various cast members on set, including Robert Carlyle and Ewen Bremner, as Begbie and Spud, but not Ewan McGregor‘s Renton or Jonny Lee Miller‘s Sick Boy… until now.
Twitter user and photographer Katielle Arrowsmith snapped the pair filming a scene at the Scottish Parliament, and both are seen apparently in-character. Take a look.

Trainspotting 2 will be released on January 27, 2017 in the UK and February 3, 2017, in the US.
More as we get it.
