If you haven’t seen the trailer for the intense, brooding The Silent Storm yet then – in a minute – watch it here. But, as you’re with us at this moment, we’re assuming you’ve witnessed that dark intrigue already and so we’re bringing you words straight from one of the stars: Damian Lewis.
Written and directed by Corinna McFarlane, The Silent Storm is set on a remote Scottish island, where respected local minister, Balor (Lewis), fights to keep his disappearing community together. His wife Aislin (Andrea Riseborough) is more in tune with nature than she is with her husband or the villagers and when a 17-year-old delinquent, played by Ross Anderson, is sent to stay, things start to get even more intense.
