Control is an Illusion: Watch ‘Mr. Robot 2.0’ Trailer

We loved the first series of Mr. Robot and were over the moon when we learned that we’d get a second series. The wait to find out what happened in the wake of the season one finale is almost over; the show returns to the States in July, but before that – watch the trailer for the second season below:

The Golden Globe winning show is set in a world of faceless corporations and computer hacking, and stars Rami Malek and Christian Slater. Malek plays Elliot, a young hacker who suffers from social anxiety disorder and forms his connections through the virtual world. This is where he finds himself recruited by a mysterious anarchist known simply as Mr. Robot. Along with a group of other hacker / activists Elliot seek to bring down a massive corrupt corporation. We can’t / won’t tell you any more details, but will say that if you haven’t seen the show yet, watch it now as it’s a brilliantly written and acted show. It even has the stamp of approval from computer nerds who have gone on record as saying that it reflects a realistic portrayal of computer hacking.

Mr. Robot will return in the US on 13th July with Amazon Prime likely to follow soon afterwards.
