The truth is that upcoming Netflix comedy Brahman Naman looks utterly bonkers but with a touch of those classic eighties teen comedies and a whole lot of charm. This coming-of-age tale premieres exclusively on the streaming service, that I might well be addicted to, globally on 7 July.
Written by Naman Ramachandran, Brahman Naman is set in Bangalore in the 1980s and follows the exploits of Naman, a high school kid who leads his nerdy friends on a trip to Calcutta to win a major college prize and try to lose their virginity along the way as well. Starring Shashank Arora as Naman, Tanmay Dhanania, Chaitanya Varad and Sid Mallya. Watch the trailer below, it’s mad yet entertaining!
Brahman Naman debuts exclusively on Netflix from 7 July.
