Along with Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson (aka The Rock) knows how to break a news story. The one time wrestler, now highly paid actor, uses his social media streams to keep everyone up to date with exactly what he is doing. Recently he’s been posting nonstop images from Baywatch movie, and now he’s using his social channels to keep everyone in the loop regarding his next project, Jumanji.

In an update last night he broke the news that the project has gained a new cast member, Jack Black.

Audiences are still on the fence about the remake of one of Robin Williams‘ best loved family film role though Johnson has promised it’ll be respectful to what has come before. His post does not indicate who Black will play but he does say that Black will bring ‘a rare balance of cool with funny and edge with childlike joy.’ Black joins Johnson and Kevin Hart but the cast is far from complete, as Johnson teases that there are still two big roles left; a ‘bad ass girl’ and a ‘semi-sorta bad ass dude’.
