Actor Eriq La Salle has joined the expanding cast of The Wolverine 3, so reports Variety.
La Salle, best known for his work on the hit TV show E.R., will play an undisclosed role in the forthcoming movie, which is rumoured to be the last time that Hugh Jackman will take on his iconic role.
Also amongst the cast is Britain’s own Stephen Merchant, and Richard E. Grant who will reportedly play one of the villain’s in the movie. Boyd Holbrook (Narcos) will play the main villain of the piece, and the film is set to bow in cinemas in 2017.
La Salle most recently appeared in the hit TV show Under the Dome, and he is also credited with directing episodes of Once Upon a Time, CSI: Cyber and Lucifer.
James Mangold will direct from a screenplay from David James Kelly for 20th Century Fox.
