Seth Grahame-Smith, the director of the upcoming DC movie The Flash, has left the project citing ‘creative differences.’
The news of the helmer’s departure broke over the weekend. No specific details were given of the fimmaker’s decision to leave the high profile DC/ Warner Bros. project, other than the above, but we believe that the studio are now looking for a replacement. They do have a little time as The Flash isn’t due in cinemas until March, 2018. According to The Hollywood Reporter, who broke the news, the project will retain Grahame-Smith’s script, which he wrote working off of a treatment by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller.
Ezra Miller will be playing the lead role of Barry Allen/ The Flash in the film, after briefly appearing in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice earlier this year.
Grahame-Smith wrote the screenplay for the LEGO Batman movie, which comes out next year, and continues to work on Beetlejuice 2 at the studio.
