He’s just appeared in Daredevil season 2, but Jon Bernthal‘s Punisher is all set to get his own spin-off series over at Netflix.
The news comes via Entertainment Weekly, who confirmed the rumours earlier today. Their website reports that Bernthal will reprise his role as Frank Castle in the series with Hannibal executive producer Steve Lightfoot serving as the series’ showrunner.

The series joins the likes of Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Defenders, all of which are in development/ various stages of production at the streaming service. EW says that Netflix and Marvel are expected to publicly announce the project later today, but a teaser image has already been release. See it below.
