We’re expecting The Wolverine 3 to be in cinemas in 2017, so production will kick off very soon. We’re hearing today that none other than Richard E. Grant has been cast as the a villain in the film, which is set to be Hugh Jackman‘s last bow as the title character.
Grant will join the production playing a ‘villainous mad-scientist type’ one the James Mangold directed movie, which will also star Sir Patrick Stewart (as Professor X), and Narcos star Boyd Holbrook, who is set to play Jackman’s nemesis.
Grant is most famous for his role in the 1980s cult classic Withnail And I, but has appeared in many television and film roles over the years, including a stint on Doctor Who and HBO’s Girls.
