Bryan Cranston and Kevin Hart will lead the cast in the remake of The Intouchables, based on the 2012 French movie, which grossed a huge $425 million around the world. Simon Curtis (My Week With Marilyn, Woman in Gold) is in talks to direct the film, while Paul Feig adapted the screenplay for the English language version.
The original movie revolved around an unlikely friendship that develops between a wealthy quadriplegic (François Cluzet) and his caretaker (Omar Sy), just released from prison.
Here’s the trailer for the original movie. Shooting on the remake is set to start this summer.
