Kingsman 2, which goes into production very soon, has a new title. The sequl, which will be directed by Matthew Vaughn is being referred to as Kingsman: The Golden Circle, and will bow in cinemas next summer.
Speaking with Empire magazine, Matthew Vaughn spoke about his return for the anticipated sequel, which will star Taron Egerton in the lead, alongside Halle Berry and the Julianne Moore as the villain of the piece.
“I didn’t know if I wanted to direct this or not. I was worried about the villain,” Vaughn told the magazine. “Spy films are only as good as their villains. Then one morning I woke up with the whole storyline in place, and a new villain plot”.
The film, which will have a more international feel than the first one, has an official release, which will be June, 2017. We can’t wait.
More as we get it.
