April and the start of season 6 of Game of Thrones seems oh so far away. Our nights are currently long and not at all filled with our favourite fantasy series. Luckily, in addition to the end of April being almost in sight, HBO have released a new trailer. Even better news is that it actually features brand new never before seen footage. Watch it below in all its glory:
Set to a moody and atmospheric cover of Wicked Game, the trailer points to an interesting new season. The Lannisters (well what’s left of them) are reunited and seeking violent revenge, Jorah continues the search for Daenerys, and is Jon Snow about to be resurrected? Hopefully we’ll get the answers soon… is it April 24th yet?
Season six of Game of Thrones will be simulcast in the UK on Sky Atlantic at 2am on April 25, at the same time as it airs in the US. Don’t worry if you prefer your bed though, as the episode will be repeated at 9pm the same day.
