The Exorcist TV pilot has found its two Fathers. Deadline reports that Alfonso Herrera and Ben Daniels will headline the drama pilot, which is set-up over at Fox. Deadline also have a little on the plot of the proposed show too.
Here’s a snippet.
Father Tomas Ortega (Herrera) and Father Marcus Lang (Daniels) — tackling one family’s case of horrifying demonic possession and confronting the face of true evil.
The site goes on to say that ‘Herrera’s Father Tomas is the warm, selfless and compassionate leader of a small but hearty little church. Daniels’ Father Marcus is the intense holy warrior carrying out an occupation that the church no longer acknowledges in public.’
Jeremy Slater (Fantastic Four) will write the script for the pilot, said to be a reimagining of the original book by William Peter Blatty.
Herrera (above) has previously starred in Sense8, while British actor Daniels (below) is best known for his work on House Of Cards.
