Samuel L. Jackson and Salma Hayek, as well as Elodie Yung and Gary Oldman, have joined Ryan Reynolds in the Jeff Wadlow (Kick-Ass 2) directed Hitman’s Bodyguard.
Reynolds is hot-property in Hollywood once again after the $500 million plus ticket haul of Deadpool, and it looks like the stars are lining up to appear with him in his next action project.
The European-set auctioneer starts rolling in April. Variety says that the film sees Reynolds play the world’s top bodyguard, who is hired to protect a hit man, played by Samuel L. Jackson. The two have 24 hours to get to the Hague before an Eastern European dictator, played by Oldman, and his goons get them. The trade didn’t have any further details on the roles that Hayek and Yung will play.
Sounds great though. We’ll keep you posted.
