It has been confirmed. Gwyneth Paltrow will be appearing in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War, reprising her role of Tony Stark/ Iron Man’s other half, Pepper Potts. The news comes via Empire magazine who that recent reshoots had included Paltrow, in what they understand is a ‘small but key role.’
The film doesn’t come out until April/ May, but anticipation is already quite high for the Marvel sequel. It will mark Paltrow’s first appearance as Potts since Iron Man 3.
The cast of Captain America: Civil War also includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Emily Van Camp, William Hurt, Daniel Bruhl, Frank Grillo, Paul Rudd, Paul Bettany and Martin Freeman.
The film is released on April 29th in the UK, and May 6th in the US.
